Hi all, I've not not long had a Line Magnetic 219ia set amp so am looking for some used an-j.

The rest of my system is Heed DT transport, Hegel HD30, Blue Jeans and belden cabse. Soundstyle stand.
I have my setup in my living room so not Ideal but it works well.

Music I listen to classic rock and pop, dance reggae, classical, chilled, electronic, some jazz and blues. So wide taste.

Speakers I've used are Rega ela, Mission 782, Pmc - FB1i, Twenty 23, Fact 3 and ATC - scm40a mk2 and my last speakers were atc scm20-2a.

The active atc were great had the new atc tweeters fitted. Very detailed and direct sounding if a bit to forward for my taste in the end. So sold my active speakers and bought a Line Magnetic 219ia set amp. Now looking for suitably efficient speakers, which has led me to consider Klipsch and Audio note. Thank you for reading.

It's fantastic.

I read the reviews online of various Line Magnetic amps and the steve huff review. So I decided to take a chance and buy. Was a risk I didn't know if I would like it. One came up used at a good price so I went for it. I'm not disappointed.

Iv gone back to using my old Misson 782 I had in storage as last speakers were active. I can hear even wirh these budget speakers the amp is doing things my atc didn't. More space round individual instruments, more palpable liquid flow to the sound. If that makes sense. Most of all it comunicates the music better. The midrange is definitely better than the atc and that is with budget speakers. I'm on the look out for some revealing speakers now, to get the best from my amp.

Cheers Andy

I'm a fan of the AN-J Speakers. My father had a pair with internal silver wiring many years ago.

Welcome to AOS.

Thank you Shane. I haven't heard audio note speakers. They seem to be well reviewed. I going to get a demo.
