Any one use these in an amplifier stage of a DAC ?
I am going to replace 2 small orange drops with these.
Any opinions or comments welcome.

Hi Jeff, use a polypropylene rather than a polyester cap is my advice.

Better is no capacitor at all, but then requires diligence to cancel voltage offsets that typically accompany current to voltage I/V stages in CD players.
Presume it is being placed at the audio outputs vs across either of the voltage rails, found with op amps - singles Pin 7 and 4, and duals Pin 8 and 4
As for paying that much for a 1UF capacitor let alone 2x is a bit doubtful. If replacing part for part, you need to ideally match the capacitance value
to be the same as the part you are replacing, less capacitance than the original specification you may notice low frequencies rolled off, but depends
on how much care was placed in working out the original value. Voltage rating obviously is more than adequate. Also original may have different
leg spacing so allow for that.
I know Alan, but I need something small, and these get really good press.
Both hi fi collective and parts conexion highly recommend them.
In positions C1 and C3. No space for anything bigger.
In C2 and C4 I used Modwrite capacitors.
R1,R8,R3 and R10 are TX Vishay nude Z foil resistors and all the rest are Caddock MK132.
Tube sockes Audio Note Teflon Gold.
You would not believe the upgrades to the DAC section and the power supply.
A lot of silver wire and JJ, Audio Note Kaisei ,Elna Silmic 2 . Electrolytics. Ayden caps,Shockey diode, Upgraded regulator transistor , wire wound resistors. Transformer on bushings with Dynamat extreme under the Transformer to dampen vibration.
Audio Note silver RCA jacks, Canare BNC jack, anti vibration feet,PS Audio power cord ,Tung Sol gold pins,
I have upgraded the entire path, power and everything possible.
When all back ordered parts make it in, Happy happy joy joy!
The 2 caps in discussion are back ordered for up to 3 weeks.

Polystyrene better still. The k71-4 type @250v is available on eBay and you can get 4 for much the same price as the 1 you were intending.

It is 50mm long! no room ,cant be fitted.

That's a pity, but you might be able to use available height instead.
If height has sufficient room you might be able to arrange the polystyrene cap vertically soldering one leg in, then use heatshrink to insulate over a soldered extension to one leg to come back down
the side of the capacitor to meet the board.

The board is mounted vertically, and the large coupling caps over lap.
There is just no more room in the box for anything bigger.
Or I would put Jensen foil in there.
I thought some one would have implemented these caps and had sonic impressions of them.
They are used in a lot of upgrade kits.
