I recently changed my room arrangement, so my current speaker cables are much too short. As a result I need a 6m pair (single wire).
I was using Transparent Music Wave Plus MM, but can't afford them at the right length, so looking for alternatives.
I have 79 strand as back up and I've been kindly loaned some TQ Green. The latter do give my Tannoys something of the ease of electrostatic speakers, but this may be partially because they are a little rolled off. It's hard to say, because at the same time they give much better insight and sense of space than the bog-standard 79 strand, which now seem bright and coarse. The TQ Green are certainly very good at removing glare.
Ultimately I'm looking for something similar to the Transparent Music Wave Plus MM. I've been offered some Abbey Road Reference, which I'm considering. If anyone has anything else that might work for me, please let me know.
