For sale: one unicorn.
One genuine NOS Kef T52 tweeter diaphragm and voice coil, part of a set of four bought from a Nordic dealer who was closing down some years ago.
This is the correct SP1049 variant for the Reference series T52, and the batch was sold to me by a Kef dealer in Sweden who was shutting down. I was told they are original factory selected Reference grade stock but have no way of knowing if this is true, I can tell you that their DC impedances are all identical to within 0.01 ohm so they probably are (actual impedance is 6.68 ohm, not 6.8 as marked).
I installed one in a blown 105.1, and found that I could discern no difference whatsoever between the new and the original tweeter in the other cab, so I didn't bother changing the other one.
The diaphragms are easy to install and the adhesive pads are as good as the day they were made.
£100 firm plus insured delivery for it or collect from W.London. Consider that these are probably amongst the last, if not the last, NOS Reference grade diaphagms in the world, the tweeters keep blowing (mostly because people keep removing the inline fuses) and Kef ran out of them donkeys years ago.
