Hi Gaz welcome to the forum I'm sure you'll get lots of advice on here. Why not start with your musical tastes, current system (if you have one), size and layout of room and any restrictions on size of rack/speakers, volume levels etc.

If you want to discuss setting up a new system, why not start a thread in our Blank Canvas section and outline your ideas. You'll need to say what sources you intend to use, how big a room you'll use it all in, whether you want all new equipment or second hand and of course we'd need to know your budget.

Anyway, get involved and have a chat with the members, they're a friendly bunch.
