Qobuz playing through Roon - anyone running it this way?

All of a sudden I can’t play Qobuz tracks in Roon, play fines in both web and IPad apps.
Troubleshooting and trying to narrow down the cause.

Emailed Qobuz over a week ago, had an automated acknowledgment email, but no answer or help.
Hmnn, doesn’t look great and at 25 quid a month I’d expect better, might cancel.

Anyone else run it via Roon...any issues?

Qobuz cant even get there own windows app to work so what chance eh? when i asked them re it the response was to use audirvana as it works there well. So I reluctantly cancelled. that kind of money and they cant even supply the means to use it...sorry but Tidal always works

Hmnn..your experience ain’t encouraging either Grant...

I’ll contact them again, and have a look in the Roon forums, could be an issue with that to be fair.

I’m playing Qobuz through Roon. I have a Linux version Roon server and I use an iPad as the Roon control.

It’s been pretty much faultless for me since it was integrated into Roon.

However I have been having a minor issue since I upgraded my talk talk broadband package and had a new talk talk router. I occasionally get the situation where Roon won’t load a Qobuz album on the first try, I get a message that there is a network problem.

If I go back and try again it usually works.

Otherwise it’s superb, the sound quality is truly excellent.

Over on the Roon forum one of the moderators there suggesting I check my Roon core’s system clock, as that not being right can cause this problem.

Checking that today.

Yup.
Sho’nuff it was my system clock that had drifted off to some time in the future.
Corrected the time in the Bios and Qobuz is now playing fine.


Thanks for the help, almost cancelled Qobuz because of this, glad I got it fixed.
Sound quality is great.
