Naim ND5 XS 2

I thought I’d post a few photos of my mess, sorry I mean set-up. Shockingly it still sounds brilliant.

Interesting arm.
I think you need to add more mess. That's system is just not messy enough for my liking

The arm looks cool and more importantly sounds great. It took me months to get the mess of cables just right.

Nice arm.
What's messy about it Rob, looks pretty tidy to me?

I'd keep the window closed to keep those stripy snakes getting on your window sill.

Looks fine through my eyes. How are you finding the Exposure 3010S2D?

Love the Exposure amp. I did want a Naim amp to match my streamer but the ones I tried (Nait 5si and Nait XS) left me cold.
My dealer recommended the Exposure and within seconds I was sold. Extremely engaging and exciting to listen to.
I've already spoken with my dealer about moving onto the Monoblocks.

Hope you don't mind me asking. How did you find the sound of the Nait XS?

I don't mind at all. In all honesty I found it extremely knackering. I struggled to listen to it for more than 10 minutes before it became too much.
I went back to my dealer for 3 demos so I was really trying to like the Naim amps but I really didn't like them at all.
Maybe you ought to change your forum name to 'Blackmess'.
Interesting system you have put together thee Rob. I've long admired the lateral thinking behind the Well Tempered Arm, though I've read they can be difficult to set up.
Being able to situate and use your speakers on the same surface as the TT, is an admirable testament to the isolation properties of your Versalex. :)

"Blackmess", good one.
The arm was a doddle to set up...I got my dealer to set it up!
Yeah it looks like it shouldn't work but it does. Having speaker stands would make a big difference but this is where my system has to go for now and I'm loving it.
