Hi
I'm wondering could my Tisbury Passive pre amp work with Active speakers i am interested to know because i have the Sony SA S1 Speakers & Sony SA H7900's and looking to experiment but dont have enough knowledge but willing to know the pro's and con's if they could work together..
It depends on the sensitivity of the active speakers and the output of the source.
Why don't you just try it? - you won't cause any damage.
should work i think. turn actives up full and use passive as vc

The Tisbury is 10K Stepped and the output of the SA H7900's - Power Consumption 50 watts - Music Power Output 250 watts

That's a cracking album to christen a new set up with. Enjoy!

The only concern is that the actives have a high enough I/P gain.

One of my favourite first albums to try. Important to have familiarity and awesome tunes. :P
One Love is a great track.
