dont really know much about him, or the fact the woman's mother was coloured tbh. i dont follow the papers etc or radio.
seems he took it down quickly, but not quick enough. Not sure just sacking someone is the answer as it will likely make him racist if he wasnt before.

Thought like you when I was young. But with experience comes wisdom and I now see the point of them. Not as individuals but as a high concept. As for the individuals, well, someone has to be 'it'. Don't forget too, that Snapper (David), one of my best friends, whom you've met, used to work in the press, and I can tell you had access to damming material in relation to this stuff [Jill Dando and Jimmy Saville - all related], which at the time it was happening, wasn't 'allowed' by the powers that be to see the light of day, and so which you won't find on any Internet search.
I don't expect you to accept what I'm telling you. Believe what you like, but I've seen enough evidence that for me conclusively proves that many members of the Royal Family and governments, past and present, were paedophiles.

20 years ago I would have wholeheartedly agreed with you, however nowadays the Royal family are probably the only traditional English institution that hasn't been ruined by PC lefties. Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. TBH though, I'm not much of a flag-waver, for anything, so don't really believe in 'advertising' my roots/beliefs, which is why you'll never see any Italian (or Scottish) flags, stickers, t-shirts, scarves, hats or anything else near me, my home or my car.
I don't even wear my team's colours when going to watch a football match, just not my 'thing'. I prefer keeping whom or what I 'support', or where I come from, private:)

For the record, I really like Danny Baker. His radio shows are extremely good. He’s also been a great ambassador for lots of music and really helped support the cause. I'm a white male who, at work is not allowed Christmas decorations in case it offends non Christians but is forced to accept Muslim colleagues being allowed breaks from work to pray during Ramadan, I have to either eat Halal meat or no meat at all in the works canteen, I am asked not to organise social events where alcohol is served as it is uninclusive, I am not allowed to share or like images showing St George's flag on social media.
But I'm not qualified to comment on racism or political correctness gone mad?

As for changing Britain's values, FFS!
This country was primarily Pagan until some random traveller convinced a King that there was only ONE true God. He then decided that Catholicism should be the religion of this great country. He brutalised anyone who practices otherwise. Eventually, Catholicism took over. Nowadays, a group of extremist Muslims are trying to do the same, yet we call them terrorists. We are right of course but where's the difference? Because a King of England decided to install a new national religion by violence it was ok, yes?
Now as a nation, we have evolved, developed and progressed to a point where having a different religion, colour, sexual orientation, is not a hanging offence and people are moaning about protecting that right!! Apparently, its a fucking outrage. Not to me, I'd rather hang a racist, homophobe etc
All this is nonsense, if you don't want Halal meat, take a fucking packed lunch. By opting not to eat Halal, you are exercising your right in exactly the same way.
If you don't like the demographic of your area, you move. They aren't the problem, it's you that has the problem with your area.

Management did not want to appear biased, and felt that our nation’s flag might give the appearance that “they lean one way or another.”
Officials in a California city ban U.S. flags from being displayed on city fire trucks because they didn’t want to offend anyone in the community.
In an “act of tolerance,” the head of the public library at a Florida university ordered all “Proud to Be an American” signs removed so as to not offend international students.
I, for one, am quite disturbed by these actions of so-called “American citizens”; and I am tired of this nation worrying about whether or not we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on September 11th, we have experienced a surge of patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled in New York and Washington, DC when the “politically correct” crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Rather than become embattled and bitter about it, he can do something about it.
Imagine working somewhere that allowed smokers to have a 5min smoke break every hour BUT you don't smoke. You don't get that break. Is it right? No, but it's no different in terms of inequality. There's a selective outrage here and I am sure IF what Gaz said is true, there will be others who feel like that too. Why not join a union and raise awareness about the issue and take it on. Might just be the management haven't realised their mistake rather than being a political problem.
