Has anyone bought and installed one of these?

If so was it difficult?

Would you need much soldering skill?

In that case, I think, others might want to correct me, but to use that plate you would need to rewire the tonearm as the little wires that come out of the tonearm that are soldered to the little pcb in the techie tonearm would be too short to be de soldered and resoldered to the back of that plate... That might be worth a go... But I expect it's quite fiddly.
Have a mooch at this guys videos http://www.youtube.com/user/viperfrank
that will give you a bit more insite into what might be involved
else I did find a complete set of instructions on tweb somewhere, but I can't find it now..
If nobody else spots this threa start a new one called techie tonearm rewire ... Some bright spark will be able to help!

Thanks for the info hamish yeah your right it looks fiddly.I contacted kab about the plate and they didn't mention anything about the original tone arm wire being to short so i guess it's ok.

I think im going to try it nothing ventured nothing gained.
