Thanks for sharing this, I read it while queuing up outside a shop in Edinburgh for over 2hours, all for the love of Dylan. Interesting that he uses a refurbished Thorens td160.

250 RSD 2019 releases on eBay by 8am and by lunchtime there was over 1400 all at vastly inflated prices

I didn't know Bob Dylan used a refurbished Thorens TD160. It's not a bad deck but with his Nobel Prize money, I'm sure he could do a bit better! ;)

Went the three shops & in the end travelled to Sheffield & queued for an hour to get Prefab Sprout Steve McQueen Acoustic version (last one they had)...well worth it & already at £70 on Ebay...no intention of selling it....just couldn't stand the thought of a Prefab Sprout vinyl release I didn't have !

I was in the Lake district yesterday and stayed over so didn't go to my local record shop this morning. Instead I went to a shop I've never been to before in Clitheroe on the way back. Parked up outside at 10am, no queue, went in and got two records I wanted and was out by 10.30 after a browse round.

Compared to queuing outside Piccadilly Records for 4 hours it was a dream.
