FS London Acoustical Developments GAJ 828 Direct drive turntable

I’ve decided to move this on as I’m not using it & it’s a good little turntable going to waste. It’s direct drive & the arm looks like a Jelco. Strictly collection only on this, I’m only asking £100 and then you can have a listen. I’ve put an old cartridge I had knocking about in to get you started.

That's a thing of beauty, in a brutalist industrial way .. rather like an East German retro-engineered Technics deck from the early 80s, strictly for metal or trance of course :D

The arm is a Jelco - a variant of the SA-370.

Ok, this excellent turntable is available again, due to a massive reduction of my kit collection.

I paid Roy £100 for it and obviously had diesel costs and a 275 mile round trip from collecting it from Romford. I’ve also fitted a better cartridge and arm cable, so I’m asking £120 collected for a very capable direct drive turntable. Please note that there is no lid with these and that there is no bottom cover, that’s how I received it.

I think this used to be mine a long while back. Cracking TT for the money and nips at the heels of a 1210. I'd love to fettle one and see what could be achieved.

Bumping this turntable.

The cartridge fitted is an Ortofon VMS20E mk2, stylus seems fine but not sure of how many hours are on it. The headshell is a Technics type.
