i am after some help to determine the mass of a technica 1200/1210 counterweight. Also I.would.like to know the inside diameter of the plastic sleeve that sits inside the weight (that slides over the stub).

The reason I ask is that the counterweight on the Q202 I prepared recently is a bit light for the cart so the weight is right at back of stub. The 1200 aux weight screws straight onto stub, however the closer fitting lid cannot be closed when arm is on rest.

So am looking to see if any other Technics counterweight can be swapped. If the.inside diameter is the same as the Q202 around 13.7mm then I would expect it to fit. And as long as the counterweight is more than 80g it should do the job.

If not too much trouble, would a kind 1200/10 owner please check the mass and inside diameter of the std counterweight for me? It would be much appreciated 😊.

Many thanks,

graham
