New cd player

Hello guys.
This is my first post so I would like to take this opportunity to say hello.
I haven't bought any hifi in donkeys but was wondering what would be a suitable upgrade to a Marantz cd63se. I have just sold my turntable after finally conceding that I prefer cd{30 years self debate}, and with the proceeds thought I would upgrade. My amp is a Cyrus 3i with psx-r into Mission 752 speakers. Has cd moved on from my 90s disc spinner, has anyone owned a cd63se and moved on, would love to hear from you

If your CD63se is still working ok? If so I added a DAC to mine with great results.

The Topping D30 DAC is around £100 and just fabulous.

Strangely enough, a Topping D30 DAC would also be my suggestion for a very cost effective upgrade.
I think you will be astonished at the improvement in sound quality!
