Many thanks, Martincould you elaborate, front horns or back loaded horns. I have a pair of lowther dx45 drivers, the smaller 6" ones that don't have the shout like the 8" drivers. I also have plans for lowther alerion blh cabinets designed by Jon ver halen of lowther America and were built by Terry Cain back then. Charney audio are now making them. I was building the boxes but am now using a 10" driver by Lii audio in tqwt.

If you are looking for (cheap) drivers for back loaded horn please check my very old ad on diyaudio for monacor sp-200x.
These could come with free tqwp cabinets. I also have vintage philips ad8008 (I believe). I had lots of fun with these in another tqwp design. Both sp200 and Philips are 8" .

Hi, in order to provide some context, I am looking towards the higher quality end though always seeking the over acheivers. I am experimenting with and open to designs. I have a pair of Seas coaxial that are a benchmark. Will consider any single point FR driver to then work around to optimise their potential. Driven by the driver rather than the cab. M
