I recently purchased a Shunyata Sigma NR power cord, hoping for some improved Sonics. I found a floor model that saved me $500 on the price! And walked away with it for $2500.
So I went about trying it on different devises in my system, and after trying it on every piece, I thought about plugging up my Pro-Ject RCM with it. Why not? And WOW! You wouldn’t believe how much difference it made! Records I cleaned on the machine sounded better! Even records I had cleaned previously now sounded even better! . I would have never believed it if I had not heard it myself. Blacker backgrounds, wider soundstage, truer tones! Record after record I was just amazed and enthralled by the difference it made, I’m going to put the fancy fuses in it next! Who knows how clean my records might be? What are the chances that such a revelation should occur on April first? ;)
