Total Bargain! The 306 is quads understated masterpiece, often overlooked by people in favour of the 405 the 306 is a brilliant sweet sounding amp that can be bought for very little money.
Hi,
That is too cheap!!!

The speaker sockets look different to all the ones i've seen.

MODS, fair observation or crapping on the thread?
Its true ive not seen those sockets on a 306 either, but sure they are fine (Quad may have fitted them tho, ive no idea). The originals do give up the ghost.
remember this is a sales thread tho folks. any more questions like that should go via pm.

I think it's a good buy for the money but someone asked if it had been modified in any way and although you said no, it looks like it has. If you didn't know then that's fair enough. Surely pointing that out to a potential buyer is only fair?
Googling images of QUAD 306 shows six or seven different types of binding posts on them. Some just have sockets for banana plugs, no post at all.
It's in full working order and the price is a steal so who cares? They look to be good quality anyway.

I'm keeping my 306
That's an absolute bargain - the one I bought with a faulty channel (20V DC Offset on the output) cost me that much!

Yes, as I said earlier I'm tempted.
I already have a 405 so I'm still mulling over whether I should also try the 306.
I am very tempted with this to try it with my Caiman SEG...and must keep telling myself I am reducing my collection count ...I am reducing my collection.....

No not excessive at all to want one, just nice. the 306 being one of Quads best efforts, the other being the 303.
They are also easy to service, and if needed update parts on https://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?62558-Quad-306-Refresh-and-Upgrade
