Hi.

I have a set of Wilson Benesch Arc speakers and one of them needs new drivers, can anyone tell me if this is possible without shelling out £250 for the bass and £170 for the tweeter or are these drivers WB only?

The Tweeter is a Scanspeak Code: 20643-5 PW:482

Would you think anyone be interested in buying the carbon fibre cabinate for a DIY project?

Cheers

What's wrong with the drivers?

One driver is fine, the others are pretty bashed in... so not a chance of being fixed.

Depends if WB had the drivers customised. I believe the tweeters are modified for WB by Scanspeak.

That said, even if they were stock Scanspeak drivers, they are going to cost you about that anyway based on what Wilmslow Audio charge for Scanspeak drivers.
