Yes it was pretty impressive, if it was not planned/rehearsed then extremely good, that is what shows a great singer/performer they can just deliver the goods.

J Hud did the same on the Johnathon Ross show last night , She is going to be Aretha Franklin :)

They did a great duet, even though JH didn't know the words to 'It's a mans world'.

Sir Tom is 78 and can sing like that
I am very cynical about these sort of shows inc x-factor, britains got talent etc. It wouldn't surprise me if the winner was picked before the shows had even started:eek:

I could see that with the X factor loads of auditions before the TV program.
I cant see it with the Voice as they sing on the night ( Dont think they have auditions with Judges before the TV show )
Out of the two I much prefer the Voice , Its more fun rather than dull and dreary .

There will be auditions, in order to weed out the deluded ones, though I expect the judge have no part in that.
The Voice and The X Factor shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence - I never miss The Voice, while I would take someone else's rectal examination if it would get me out of watching The X Factor. Both experiences are similarly toe-curling.
A lot of the difference would be to do with the judges themselves - The Voice judges have more 'heart', and are likeable. While The X Factor had Robbie Williams, for gawds sake. And also his missus, who I'm told was a complete horror.
Time to move The X Factor over to ITV 2, or better still ITV Be.
