I bought an Arcam DV137 player from a member here recently, however after a week in my posession its developed a fault where its blowing one of the internal fuses. Ive replaced the fuse but it popped on power up.
There is no obvious (to me) issues with the boards , certainly no obvious blow caps.
Hopefully this is a viable repair but wondering if any members can reccomend a local repairer or if there are any amateur electronic enthusiasts that fancy taking a look over it?
Thanks in advance.
Martin
Ps im in Deal East Kent , thanet and canterbury and Dover i go to regularly.
If you so inclined and you have a multi meter, with the power off check the rectifier diodes for a short circuit.
