Once you have stopped laughing I invite you to come and hear em , they are simply stunning in every way and the best speakers I’ve ever had by a mile .

Nothing wrong with Jamo speakers, you just don't hear much about their more upmarket models.

In the past I would not even glance at Jamo , I think these were developed to change that perception.
I know a guy who has spent over £75k on his listening room ( including concrete plinths and silver wiring ) and he has these same speakers.

The small Jamo Concert 8 was a highly regarded 'mini-monitor' type speaker that had a great reputation a few years ago. Never got the opportunity to hear any though.

Rear ports rule them out of the running for me.

They do look superb. Enjoy them.

Jamo says use up against a wall is fine , one of mine is 8” away from the wall .

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHmm, I'd be sceptical as I have glass doors behind the speaker position. It does boom with ever rear ported design I tried.

Maybe a bit a foam behind....................

Straws or foam bungs can sometimes solve that without sucking too much life from the speaker.

Sent from my BLN-L21 using TapatalkI might have to try some things out. It's really limiting

Start with socks and see how it works. Straws allow the speaker to breathe more but might not fully alleviate the issue.

Maybe a bit a foam behind....................i have French doors adjacent to my left speaker with kilo serge wool curtains as used in vocal booths. Works great.

Oh, thats not a bad idea. It would be nice to have the option of rear ported speakers

It reminds me very much of the marantz Pm4 but better, and it continues to make me smile every now and then when I hear certain songs . A really enjoyable amp.

I thought so too until I heard the Linkwitz 521 which are joke good, especially with soundstage and imaging:

Which ones did you hear. You do realise that just like boxes there are good and bad ones.
