Hi all,

As per my other thread I'm building a 12v trigger unit to switch on two power/mono block Amps from two independent 12v trigger sources, I'd like to build in a RFI filter on the power output side of the switch.

I'm looking to use this Schaffner FN2030 Series 20A 250 V ac 400Hz Flange Mount RFI Filter to feed the two IEC outputs, can anyone see why this won't work/would be dangerous? Each power amp draws around 3.3A but i've chosen 20A as that's the same rating of the solid state relay.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

I'm not up on the regs but might it be prudent to switch both live and neutral with the relay?

Seems like it’s not part of the regs from what I can find, I will have a better look into it, not that easy to implement without a second relay.
