Yes, ifs good for tubes, hopefully the guy who comes from France will be there. He always has lots of interesting stuff. If henry Durant (Toprepairman) is there, (you cant miss his where's wally red and white jumper) you can even get them tested for a nominal fee.

i bought two mil spec valves £18,a norah jones lp and 2 pairs of eichmann bullet plugs £15 and very very nearly bought 4 nos gec kt88 valves but walked away!

Met a few members, same as Jamie, and only came back with vinyl.

Had a great day and a reasonably good sale so no complaints - also good to catch up with the usual suspects, including Audio Al, and to finally meet Jamie.

Purchase wise, I failed to resist a non-working monster Technics SU-9600 preamp for £40 and 4/7ths of a Yamaha 99 series midi system for £20.

Finally, as I was leaving, I spotted a turntable on an empty table near the door with ‘Free’ on it. Despite the fact that it was in grotty condition and is also a Connoisseur BD2, a deck which I loathe, it caught me off guard and somehow sparked compassion within me, so I rescued it!

That’s my stall and, yes, they are Pentachord As with the active crossover.

They didn’t sell so I’m reverting to continuing my search for one of the matching Pentachord subwoofers!
