Capacitors at a guess, do they have any numbers on them such as 475 or similar?

The round electrolytic says 470 but nothing on the gray boxes or on the board.

They are not marked but I found a schematic that lists them as C2L and C2R as AC coupling caps.

The markings are probably positioned next to one another, so you can't see them.

Your right, I looked up the JDS Labs Cmoy kit goggled the part numbers and they are Vishay 1uf AC 40v DC 65V caps.
Odd thing that made me ask the question , with what tested as a good 9v battery 9.28 volts dc on my multi meter . When I played my headphones and ipod through it, It started to oscillate ,switching click, click click click really fast!
I even took the board out inspected it for burn marks on the bottom thinking the solder tits may be shorting on the bottom of the tin case, I put a thick layer of electricians black tape on the bottom of the tin as an insulator.
I thought it may be a relay as the battery was over 9v. I put in a new battery right out of the wrapper and all was well. Go figure...
The battery in question dose have a slight bulge in the middle , maybe thats the problem funny it tested so good.
