hello my name is robert, i'm living in london, currently have very basic entry level system, technics 1200, nagaoka 110, denon dl 110, 685 s2 or MA bronze BR5. at the moment hunting for amp. i had nad 3020, denon,audiolab 8000a, but non of these like. recently found online there is an ocean devices, very good ones, tube and solid, so i'm in big delima now - unison research unico hybrid, naim nait 5si or maybe primare i30, thinkin ad pre amp later.

If you want opinions on amplifiers, I'd suggest starting a thread in the Blank Canvas area and outlining your thoughts. I'm sure you'll get some useful replies.

If as you suggest, you are considering an integrated amplifier, you won't under normal circumstances need a pre-amp.
