Made in the UK, very nice high quality passive pre amp, using Alps potentiometer and good quality gold RCA plugs. made in the 90's, can be used to switch input sources to a power amp without any interference to the signal quality.

6 line inputs, Tape 1 , Tape 2, Aux, Tuner, CD, Disc

10k Alps Blue potentiometer

Dubbing outputs to switch the source to a separate output for recording

There are some scratches to the unit, some light ones on front facia around left side dial, more under the front, but less visible on a shelf. I replaced the original knobs on the unit as two were missing.

This pre I'm sure will sound very clean and open. Sondex was the company John Widgery traded under before trading as Woodside. John was from Radford and subsequently released the Woodside Renaissance amps based on the STA design. Much sought after now.

Absolute bargain even at the earlier higher price sought.

I used to have a Sondex integrated amp that I picked up for cheap and knew very little about.

It had a lovely warm, non fatiguing sound that it took me ages to better....
