Hi Shane.

Not sure if these are what you may like. Amazon are selling the AKG 702 for just over £100 at the moment.
I bought a pair and am well pleased, very comfy too. Stan is tweaking my Bushmaster mkll to make the best of them. Can’t seem to link to them but should be easy to find. They used to be much more money.

Which ones haven't you tried yet? Oppo and Hifiman might be worth trying, the 400i are within the price range and I liked them.

Shane, I can't help wondering if you'll ever be happy with any headphones you seem to buy and sell so many.

Maybe you should completely rethink how you listen to music - why not speakers ?
Or are you just another box-swapper ? :eyebrows:

Gerry - A big Thankyou for the heads up - just bought a pair of these from HMV - BARGAIN of the century. I have a pair already and they are superb! These normally go for £160-£150 so £69.99 delivered is AMAZING.

AKG 702 are open back

I already know that. I've had 701's before. Plus the current production AKG's are made in China. This is a big NO to me I'm afraid. Have to obey my OCD ego ;)

That's a make I've never tried or heard. I've been a Sennheiser guy since my first pair when I was 14 and only tried AKG and Grado since (too tinny). Apart from Stax, Fostex and Hifiman that is! I understand Beyer are a good compromise between the two and want to try a pair one day.
