Yes I've heard, and lifted, this amp. Sublime.
Don't think you need it Tom but GLWS if it comes to it.
I really thought the STA100 were lifers for you Tom. Like Alan I have also heard these, they are 'perfect'. Also knowing Will's craftsmanship this amp will give decades of service.
At the price you indicate this is a stoking bargain - particularly with the Sophias.

Ye Gods Tom!!
After all that time and effort  Your project would have to be something very special

I have half a kidney and an EAR 516 waiting for you if you fancy a swop. Actually, a listen to this would suffice at this point in time. Good luck if you decide to sell.
The picture with the insides showing make it look like jewellery, stunning! GLWTS
Probably the best amps out there and this is one of God's own.
I wish lol

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t even contemplate this move if it wasn’t right.
There’s always a ‘better’ suited solution out there to the question, one just has to keep the antenna up..and keep asking!
Never heard a Radford. Unqualified to know where this amp is at. But it was a long time coming and this does look nicely done.

Bought my first Radford amp a few months ago, one of the few bits of kit I found that actually lives up to the hype...
I you love the Tannoy sound I can't imagine where you'd go to better this.

Ok it’s decided. The Radford will be heading for the New Forest.
Gosh.
Nice one Clive. Enjoy :)
Thank you, I am certain I will. Even though I have spent the last 6 months having a STA15 fettled and being delighted with the results, I couldn't believe my luck when I logged on and saw Tom's post. Like everyone else I have drooled over Tom and Will's postings about this amp. It's becoming a bit of a habit buying Tom's cast-offs, a turntable, a power amp and a couple of cartridges over the years:)
It's going to a good home where it will drive a pair of vintage Tannoy GRF Corner Horns with 15" MGs.
Some cast off that Clive ( Radfords ). Should sound fab with them Tannoys mate

So, off to buy Gordan's SIT, then?
It DOES have -kind-of - tubes/valves.
Whoops! Too late...saved me from temptation!

No no Chris, you are wrong, SIT is going to another lucky winner!

I am now the proud owner of this Beast. (So called because it weighs a ton and is ugly, in a sexy sort of way).
It is driving the 15" MGs in the manner I have been searching for ever since I got the Tannoy GRFs. My Shindo amps had a mid-range to die for but couldn't keep up with large scale orchestral music, the EAR836 had the grip and more than enough power but was somewhat lacking in musicality, the STA15 was the best so far, but I was always wondering if it would be better with a few more watts. So I was always on the lookout for a STA25 or STA100, and could not believe my luck when I saw Tom's post.
I had a problem with it to start with that turned out to be valve related and is now resolved. I have to say both Tom and Will at Radford Revival have been as helpful as you could wish for and are perfect gentlemen to deal with.
Its all been said before about this amp, but with the 15" MGs it has total control and authority, is lightening fast - the leading attack is the best I have heard, and the bass is powerful and controlled, although I don't think it goes any deeper than the STA15. If I was picky, possibly a little less musical in the mid-range than the STA15 but that could well be just a factor of the type of valve, KT88 v EL34. I am listening to Starker Plays Kodaly at the moment and the timbre and texture of the cello is just perfect.
I don't expect to be changing amps again for a very long time!
