Tried a pair last year. Nice speakers! They sounded quite pleasant and didn't offend any part of my listening experience. The beauty of P3ESR is that you can listen to them for long periods.

Pardon my ignorance. Do the P3ESR's have internal bracing?

I'd put money on it that they don't. Why you want to know?

Just curious.

I doubt you'd find many speakers that small with internal bracing. A baffle that size wont be flapping around like a bigger, unbraced baffle.

No internal bracing. Not required as the cabinet is small and they are BBC type designs where the cabinet is allowed to resonate at low frequencies and not in the mid-band.

I have a pair of black P3-ESRs and would agree that they’re superb speakers.
I also have a pair of Spendor S3/5Rs, which are excellent speakers.
Both pairs put the LS3/5a to bed and give musical satisfaction, something lacking in many small modern speakers.
