Looking for a Rotel 'RP-3000' ...Not important if it doesnt have the original arm with it.
The control pannel, 'Rotel' badge, rear socketry pannel & plaque must all be in mint condition, no scratches or letter ware..No cracked or chipped dust cover please.

Hi Andre
Is the rotel a sleeper or is it just for your collection,ie is it a good motor unit?

I'll be using it with a different arm to the original, audiophools will no doubt turn there noses up at em but they live on the ''hi-fi more important than music planet''
That was with the OEM Matsushita motor unit I believe.
What about the Monitor Audio direct drive with the same motor (ET 500?)? Loved the look of that one and I think the plinth was mass loaded too IIRC.

The ET500 used the Rotel platter aswell as the motor

Never saw that, the backs busted & the phono connector plate is missing
If it was bought cheaply enough, I think it would make a good D.I.Y restoration project.
I suspect it has a pretty good motor mechanism (or at least it did when it was new) - perhaps overall it's on a par with the Pioneer PL-71? And the SME 3009 (if not shagged, and once cleaned) on its own is worth about £120
