Connecting Dac to an av amp?

Hi, I have a Caiman and a TC7520 one of which I would like to connect to my AV amp.I have a PS4 pro,sky box and DVD player allready connected but I have a pair of AKG 702 headphones coming today which i would like to use when late night movie and music listening mainly via the av amp/PS4. How can i connect the dac to the av amp so I can listen via speakers or headphones, headphones using the dac headphone socket. And which dac would you use? The TC7520 would be easier as it is redundant at the moment.Would like to have the dac running on all the outputs if possible. Just can't think how to connect it?

if you want to listen to your Sky box, DVD player etc via headphones on the DAC you'll have to connect the Sky box etc to the digital input of the DAC. But some AV receivers have a digital output. Check if yours has one. That can instead be connected to the DAC.
But you have to keep in mind that the DAC is two channel PCM audio. This means that for listening through the DAC you'll have to set things like the DVD player to play the audio from them as two channel audio instesd of say 5.1 etc.

Hi Stan,, Thanks for the reply. Really love my two Stan dacs. Using the Caiman on my main system with a Sony XB930E QS. Transcription audio 211 power amp with an early Bryston pre.
I tried connecting the TC7520 to my av amp but as you said I think, I cannot seem to get sound and picture to work on any of the equipment. Sound was coming through but not brilliant to be honest. So I connected the TC7520 directly to the PS4 pro via optical cable and this works brilliantly. As the PS4 was the main thing I wanted connected that is fine. Late night gaming is mostly why I wanted headphones on the system. I received some AKG 702 phones from Amazon at a brilliant price £104.96 which I think is quite cheap. They are really comfortable and allready sound really good.
