I’m about to list for sale a td166 mk2 which I know next to nothing about , I have noticed a very fine bit of what looks like fishing line attached to one of the 2 chrome bits at the rear of the tonearm, should this have a little weight on it ? ( like the Lenco ? ) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190115/657f712ae50d98cb443e2751d5645418.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190115/aca504df2283f212ddcdb608f39efcbb.jpg

It's just a bias weight mate. Whether the TD166 has a dedicated one for the model, I don't know.

Try Steve at Magna Audio, also on AOS. He fabricates counterweights and may already have a pattern for the 166.

That reminds me I need to get a mk1 up in the loft listed as well.
