Hi all,

I am here, cap in hand, on behalf of a friend.

He is currently setting up a new home after a divorce and has next to nothing. Literally sitting on the floor of his flat, until tomorrow, when he gets a Sofa.

As he loves music, I thought I would see if anyone here had anything HiFi related that has been teetering on the brink of the bin!

He only plays CD. I have sorted a CD player out so I am after a Integrated amp (anything audible) and some speakers of some kind. Again, anything in working order, doesn't have to be pretty.

I have a Sony TA-VA8ES (https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/audio-components-receivers-amplifiers/ta-va8es) AV amp which is fantastic in stereo pass through mode. But it is a big lump (massive transformers etc) so would need pick up etc.

Need to find the remote.

I've got speaker cable if this helps. I'll post it to him for free. I may be able to find a few more things in my spares box but i would have to take a look when i get home tonight 10PM

Oh I've got an Eltax 5 channel home cinema amp he could have. Mint, original box and packaging with manual and remote (the manual is a classic of mistranslation, really funny in places).


It's got funky digital level meters on the front panel too.
