Having sold my amp to downsize, i`m now looking for a new integrated amp.

Maximum budget £200.

Vintage would be nice.
Something like a vintage marantz 1030 (should have kept the old one!).
Or vinatge sansui.
Even possibly a musical fidelity A1 if well sorted.

But open to suggestions.
Something nice to go with the snells.

It's for use with snell k, so smaller wpc fine.

Nice condition, all working.

Yes, i saw those, thank you.

I had a near nint 1030 last year.
Recapped/recapiatted (?).
I bought it on ebay for £85 and sold it for £110.

So well overpriced.
I did try and tell the seller on ebay, but you know how it goes.

Overrated and definitely overpriced these days. It was the bottom amp of the Marantz range at the time. Not exactly bursting with power either. Twenty years ago they were boot sale fodder. The aforementioned Denon PMA-350SE would totally stomp all over it.

I thought it was a luvly looking thing and sounded sweet through ms pageant 2 and jbl l50.

Sure there are probably p,enty of amps that outperform it.
But i’m looking for something that has a pleasing sound.
Not a lot more.

I have a Technics SUX-120 coming up for sale in the next week or two, very nice condition - nice thumpy sound.

40Watts per channel.

Still part of my main system, Being decommissioned in the next week or two and switching to the Onkyo.
