View Full Version : Abnormal ... again.
She, the good lady in doors, just asked why I spend so much time looking at Hi-Fi on the Internet. I replied "What else is there to look at on the Internet?" to which she replied "Porn, like normal people".
She obviously realises Porn is free [emoji23]

You could also watch videos of cats doing crazy stuff. Or do some gambling.
Most popular internet sites UK https://www.similarweb.com/top-websites/united-kingdom - porn is only 8th.

TBH when it come to porn, I'd much rather have a nice hot cup of tea. Thought, it doesn't have burn your dick.

Oops, Grant beat me to it, didn't read that far down the thread:doh:
John Prine is of course correct, his earlier albums and the Anthology collection are well worth a listen, some of the most humorous and touching lyrics I have ever heard (sometimes on the same track too).
On the topic of porn I was concerned I might have to pay more after Brexit, I was told that I may find a slight rise.

The Late John Garfield blues is a beautiful ballad, and for humour, space monkey and Jesus the Missing years are pretty good. Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan both cant be wrong

Lol... Look at the state of her, though - all botox'd to buggery, with 'pouty fish-lips', false eyelashes, and no doubt false everything else too, at 25!:rolleyes:
I wonder if some of these idiots/young women realise how UGLY/inhuman they're making themselves look, by having all that (completely unnecessary) shit done? I don't think any of them ever look at themselves *properly* in the mirror!!
Anyway, I'm glad that she wasn't injured, but it serves her right for buying cheap (mass-produced in China, no doubt) shit like that in the first place - and I hope her boyfriend/husband/partner or whatever are happy now having found out that she's been indulging in rather too much 'me time'....;)

I recently saw a programme on C4 called "The Sex Robots are Coming", and the dolls looked just like her. So maybe fashion plays a part in this "look".
If that look was what appealed to me, then I think I'd go robot. Much lower maintenance - no more botox, collagen infills, hair extensions, coloured contact lenses, tanning salons or false nails. Just a quick flush out then leave to drip dry :)

Oh 100% certain, and also so they can look 'perfect' on every one of the 200 selfies they'll be taking that day, and will post on Instagram, for the 'approval' (or otherwise) of the assembled braindead robots (read as other sad victims of peer pressure)!:mental:
And yes, that burnt-orange look, which passes as a 'tan' these days, is also very attractive [ahem], especially when there are five inches of make-up on top, diligently applied with a trowel:rolleyes: No wonder it takes them 10 hours to get ready in the morning, and the same at night, to take it all off!!
It's more sad than funny though, as they seem to be creating a 'mask' to hide behind, because they're painfully lacking in self-confidence and have low self-esteem, which is sadly the norm these days for females under 30 - and often over that, too...
Therefore, they hate how they look naturally (probably because their appearance has been criticised by some jealous/vindictive, trolling inadequates on social media), when in reality they look fine, and so much better with all that plastic rubbish stripped off of their faces and elsewhere...!
What happened to people looking REAL? When did a desire to hide behind these ridiculous (and rather ghoulish) 'masks' happen? Sad days today indeed.....

How on earth could she/it/whatever have looked in the mirror and thought that said reflection looked HUMAN, never mind 'good'...??
And apparently the latest 'fashion' for women now is to 'proudly display' their bodyhair, so look out for some nice beards near you soon - and the fat chicks will have more chins to show them off!!

Steady on, I only said I'd buy her a drink! She looks like a two-man job, and that's not my scene. Anyway, the dark hair's a deal-breaker, I prefer blondes. I really can't afford to be fussy though - I can't wear a polo neck 'cos it looks like a foreskin on me. :(

Don't take it too hard, only three men in history looked good in a polo neck.
Roger Moore (I mean he could wear a safari suit and get away with it, so polo neck is child's play by comparison)
Patrick Allen (the bloke in the helicopter from the Barrett Homes ad)

I think your "She Who Must Be Obeyed" is far from alone in this view - for the most part women just don't "get" the Hifi thing. On this forum with its many thousands of members, only two female members come to mind. What is it about our hobby that makes it so male-oriented?
Most women I know (including Del), who love music (and also good sound quality) care not a JOT about the gear, but simply the end result! ;)
Oh, and I'm glad you're enjoying your avatar... I've got a few more 'specials' lined up for you:eyebrows:
Marco.
P.S I *detest* the term "SWMBO", as it goes totally against my principles - and the other way too, with an 'H' at the beginning!
Most women don't have hobbies? I don't think they see a need for them. If they have a hi-fi it's there to make music same as the toaster is there to make toast. She's no more likely to go on a hi-fi forum as a toaster forum. Wouldn't see the point of it.
