Has anyone had any dealings with a company called CS Audio Restorations. They say that they are based in London NW3 but do not have a web site and in any e mail communication do not give a contact name or telephone number?

Never heard of or had dealings but, Yes ! Would be wise to proceed with caution until you know more

If they won't/can't even provide basic contact information, then I'd give them a wide berth.

Once/if you have that info, and you're keen to try them, ask for 5 reference customers and then contact 2-3 of them at random to see what they say.

They will only give an area post code...Anyway the exact same ad appears on Yahoo auctions Japan at three times the price so I have drawn my own conclusions

They are a total scam I have been told they advertise ridiculously cheap hoping there are a few mugs out there, they only accept bank transfers. I know the add you are referring to crazily cheap I dont think anyone would sell that cheap.
