How to connect Audiocom Superclock 3 PSU to Marantz CD17

Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie here with a modified Marantz CD17 that has an Audiocom Superclock 3 fitted to it.
I also have the separate Audiocom PSU board for the Superclock, but have no idea how to connect it up.
Would anyone know how these should be connected and could advise someone who has no understanding of electronics, although I did successfully manage to do the Superclock 3 mod some time ago?

Better off asking in DIY? In essence, the clock you already installed will have its positive supply provided by an existing voltage rail wichin the player. Does the Audiocom PSU come with it’s own transformer? Assuming yes, this allows you to connect the transformer to the mains input on you player - you can then remove the positive and negative wires from your clock where they connect to your player, and connect them to the pos and neg output of your new PSU.

If you’re not familiar with electronics, maybe better paying a professional to do it - especially if it does have its own transformer, as you’re then messing with mains supply (ie, for safety, wherever you connect mains to, should be after the fuse in your player. And fuse may need updating depending on size of PSU (most likely not though)).

At a minimum you will need a connection diagram. If you have any info like that we can assist you, but you need to do a bit of
finding of relevant information first. Maybe you have a manual already, if so let us see it.

Power requirements are likely not to include any mains connection, - the manual will greatly assist -rather power is usually
derived from a relatively safe secondary AC voltage whereas the actual board will be probably no more than 12v DC in, as
most clock boards are then after regulation just 5v DC positive.
