I'm after some recommendations / links to simple but effective cable tidy type aids.
Cable separators and so on. Anything that will keep individual cable / leads at the rear of the system apart :)
I know you can get cable tidy systems that bundle everything together but are there products designed to keep them apart?
You can make them out of zip ties. All you need is an idea

Wire pipe cleaners would work. Wrap each end around a cable and the rest of the length acts as a spacer.

You could go down to your local car breakers or look on fleabay for HT cable clip used on cars, they hold the High Tension cables that go to the spark plugs, there are many variations.
Something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HT-Ignition-Lead-Retaining-Clip-4Way-Landrover-Genuine-for-7mm-Cables-NGD100310/401532681066?hash=item5d7d367b6a:g:64UAAOSw8e5a7G3 Z:rk:2:pf:0
the finger holders for beauticians can be utilised too
Or the grey foam pipe insulation

fixed down, out of view behind the length of the rack would have been perfect - sadly, have checked with pc world and they are no longer availabl, clearance stock.
They were on eBay at some point too but sold out / no loger available there either - Shame.

Too right, go for it fella, I'm looking forward to utilising them behind and down the rear of the system rack :)
Not good having power cable, phono cable, speaker cable etc touching on on top and across each other hence I'll be glad to have it all running down, neat and apart - separated out ;)
Use decent cables and it shouldn't matter at all.

All my cables are very decent thank you very much - good house keeping is good house keeping my man, can only be an improvement no matter how you look at it ;)
Cable should not be run parallel to one another hanging loosely and separated from 1 another is ideal.
Or you could just tie them in knots like a contractor's extension cord.
I keep the power cables away from the signal cables with ad-hoc methods. Although I only have one source so that's not too hard. I don't think signal cables can interfere with one another although happy to be educated otherwise.
