Mrs. Pony has bogged off to Burnley to see her granddaughter have her first Christmas morning. Our presents opening will wait until she gets back. I notice a couple of mine are LP-shaped, so the old 300b is warming up in readiness for whatever it is :)

Excellent stuff Tony, you must be very proud. Lovely bass guitar too, classic Fender Precision

"I wonder if I might crave your momentary indulgence in order to discharge a by no means disagreeable obligation which has, over the years, become more or less established practice in government service as we approach the terminal period of the year — calendar, of course, not financial — in fact, not to put too fine a point on it, Week Fifty-One — and submit to you, with all appropriate deference, for your consideration at a convenient juncture, a sincere and sanguine expectation — indeed confidence — indeed one might go so far as to say hope — that the aforementioned period may be, at the end of the day, when all relevant factors have been taken into consideration, susceptible to being deemed to be such as to merit a final verdict of having been by no means unsatisfactory in its overall outcome and, in the final analysis, to give grounds for being judged, on mature reflection, to have been conducive to generating a degree of gratification which will be seen in retrospect to have been significantly higher than the general average

I am, and it is! [emoji4]Thanks. His other workhorse is a 5 string American Jazz Deluxe. Those two pretty much cover all the bases gig & studio-wise but the Precision has always been his baby.

[emoji23] Funnily enough, the first gig he ever went to was Steps at Wembley with his mum when he was little. [emoji4]

Merry Christmas everyone :)

Just want to apologize for a arguing with you Geoff. It's happened a few times and for some reason I always feel bad afterwards. Think it must be because you're a nice guy. Happy Christmas.

How old was he when you took him? 5? 6? 7? 8?

I think Steps had something for boys of all ages. I had a bit of a thing for Claire, ever since the video for "Chain Reaction". Oo-er matron! :)

Hope you all enjoyed a great day yesterday, ours was a bit more stressful than I had hoped, due to damaged water main, fixed quite quickly by Scottish Water. Although we still have a boot full of bottled water as they were predicting anything from a few hours to 2 or 3 days. All the neighbours working together to go and pick up the water for those without cars.

Yeah not ideal waking up to no water, but didn’t stop us having a great day. Hopefully we will outplay Hibs again but mange to score a few goals this time
