Well the Dali Zensor 3s arrived just after midday to replace my Wharfedale 9.1s which I've had over 10years and know exactly how they sound.
All connected up shortly after and ran through some FLAC tracks I listen to a lot, and boy was I shocked! Like listening to a different system and over the next 3 hours I realised how the 9.1s were ok in their day but the Zensors 3s are so far above them its shown me the big difference between the two, my music has more bass and detail and the higher notes of female voices are a lot less shrill. Obviously running them in with restraints on the volume, but the Zenson 3s have a lot more detail at lower volume levels and something I noticed first straight away.
As this is a open forum I won't say what I kept saying every time I heard more detail, but you get the jist of it, also I kept looking up during the first audition as the sound stage has changed so much its giving the tracks a total different experience,
Not much else I can say after a 3hr first session except I never though the Dali Zensor 3s would make that big of a difference, and look forward to more hours during the burn in period.
Well pleased and thanks for those who chipped in on the other post about updating the 9.1s:D and your recommendations.
P.S My cousin who also runs the same system with 9.1s went straight out and ordered a pair of dali 3s
