I think the 1+ is a hybrid so better for low impedance headphones, at least that's the theory. You could also look for an MF xcans v3, I used to have one with my AKG701s and rather liked it (after changing the valves from the stock (rather bright) Jan Philips 6922s

Have a Little Dot I could be persuaded to move on. You are probably aware that people tube roll these and IMHO has a moderate effect but changing Op Amp has greater benefits. I'll let you know what valves and op amp I currently have installed, if you're interested.Have to open it when I get home from work

Ok, first off little dot will come with stock valves + 1 pair cv4014 which do have an effect but minimal compared to op amp rolling. It will come with stock op amp + an LT 1364, currently fitted and an LM4562NA. With these options you can tweak/ improve the sound quality by quite a margin and dial in the sound with your headphones to a degree. I have just tested it on a Santana track, Singing winds, crying beasts and at the opposite end of the spectrum a lovely Scottish songbird, Carol Kidd. Was not disappointed in the least when compared to current rig using Beyer DT990 600 Ohm which the Little Dot drives quite loud enough. Will post pics as soon as I read up how to.
Hope this also gives you an insight into op-amp rolling, you can go from stock amp at a few pennies right up to £25+ very easily with Little Dot but diminishing returns will kick in. The couple I've tried are a good return for your investment. I'll post a pic of underside of PCB showing layout, hopefully☺️
Catch you later
