Just about got Jerry to see sense and not sell his Herron preamp and another stonking preamp shows up! It's definitely Xmas. GLWTS!
Yes mark one.
4 tubes.
I own a mark 2 in black as well - they both do so well!
I´m shutting down my 2. setup - so this one needs to go
A picture from my listening room with the black VT01.
This preamp is good!

Well I´ve been listening a lot to turntables. Last time was in Canada in this setup at Richards place - were there for 4 days.

I personally prefer CD over turntables. I´m into redbooks - all 16bit. I´ve been into turntables and last time I listened was on turntables from 50.000 dollars plus with kondos riaa and so (Richards place). Too many variables on turntables and too high cost to get a proper sound that matches the Peaks. On proper matched gear and on Peak Consults there are no need to "compensate" for digital sound with a turntable ;) Not in my ears.
