Oh boy....do these work....absolutely stunning upgrade. I have nothing to do with Peter and got the pylons off a friend as a present. It is simply amazing what they do, your sounstage goes through the wall, vocals are really well projected. Instrument placement improves and the detail is incredable all with a lovely quiet background. Of course if your record is scratched, they will not hide this. I run 2 Rel subs for music and noticed that the driver stopped "flapping" in and out almost totally. I have got other mods, arm rewire, Michell Techno Weight etc, but the pylons have got to be my biggest upgrade improvement. They are very well made to cap it all off. Good Luck Peter.

That's my deck in the second pic down...The pylon upgrade is outstanding in many ways...first off, my deck doesn't bounce all over the place...nor does it have any twisting or swinging motion, which the original springs allowed the deck to do..(a poor design imho)... the sound stage and stereo imaging is improved no end...the noise floor is lowered by a good 80%+ surface noise is right down....to say I'm pleased is a bit of an understatement...fitting them is easy too...just remove your adjusters from the springs....screw them into the new pylons...re-fit them to the deck....level the deck and off you go...marvelous

I fitted them yesterday with no issues whatsoever, a perfect fit :) I have been listening non stop since then and am loving what I’m hearing. First impressions: As others have said there is a new solidity to the the music and everything just seems to sound better, especially the top end as there is most definitely a reduction in any harshness, it all seems so much smoother. At the bottom end the bass is fabulous, when cranked I can really feel it. I was listening to early pressings of Led Zeppelin 3 and 4 and it sounded so powerful, Bonzo’s drums sounded like they were in the room - fabulous !!

These are an absolutely essential upgrade and at such a great price, I do t know much about Solid air but I’m sure they aren’t nearly as good and as has been pointed out need the additional feet to work.
