Has anybody heard both the Brio-R and its successor, the Brio 2017 (the one with the headphone output) side by side. I have the Brio-R and find it quite likable. The only things that I don't like are a slight thinness through the midrange and a very slightly harsh treble (at least compared to the Croft integrated). I was wondering if the new Brio improves on these areas. I would hope it has a bit more meat on the bone. Also, is the headphone output fairly decent? I was thinking of getting one of these since it has the headphone output.
