Email Glenn at Croft Acoustics - definitely attach some images of the internal construction as this will help him verify if he personally built it. He won't reply immediately as during busy periods, he'll attend to non urgent emails at the weekend.

When I say 'verify', he rightly feels some of his designs and chassis were stolen, passed off or specs offered to customers unbeknown to him as his own work during an unfair business relationship in his past.

Exactly. For some years his 'distributor' ripped off his designs, often building them with inferior components and passed them on as Croft. Most are nowhere near as good as his latest 25 and 7 series.
