HI

I am looking for a phono stage with balanced outputs, budget is limited but hoping someone has something like a Project RS phono that needs a new home.

Thanks

There arent many balanced phono stages on the market. Akvox (Aqvos?) is one and the other I know of is the Ayre Evolution.

I believe Tisbury will make you a version of their passive if you ask.

I know that the Project RS has balanced outputs as does a few of the Whest units which are out of my price range sad to say.

Aqvox is an interesting design having balanced-line inputs and outputs. In MC mode, it operates as a current-driven transconductance amplifier and needs careful setup.

There is also a Chord phonostage that has the option (via RCA phono sockets) to offer balance input. It also has a balanced output via XLR connectors.

Got a PS Audio GCPH I might be willing to part with. Fully balanced and very flexible. Can even run as a preamp
