Having a bit of a fun-raising drive after some excessive autumn spending
Audionote AN-V digital interconnect, 0.5m with AN-P terminations
Selling my Audionote AN-V solid silver litz digital interconnect. 0.5m in length with the heavily silver plated AN-P RCA phono plugs. I bought this direct from Audionote at the same time as my CDT2/II DAC unfortunately it has been too short for some time in my current layout. I paid £200 including VAT for this, offered at £150 including signed postage. I’m not the biggest cable believer but this worked superbly in my system and if there was a way to retain it I most definitely would. Receipt from the original purchase in February 2012 is available.
BTW I don't know what the factory price for this is now but Hifi Collective are charging £200 per 0.5 metre plus £34 per AN-P plug which is £321 not including postage or the hassle to make the cable up (solid silver litz is a bit of a pig to solder) so this is less than half the new price if you wanted an an Audio Note interconnect.

Tannoy 609 MkIi speakers and stands
I bought these Tannoy 609 MkIi speakers from Mauro fairly recently but my plans for them didn’t work out. They sound superb but do need a beefy state amp of 40+w, valve or solid state, to come alive. Surprising bass from the 8in dual concentric drivers, with the usual Tannoy full image coherence from the DC driver. I paid £90 for them and then paid another £35 shipped for the dedicated stands. Offered at £120, collection only from the Bracknell area.

Fidelity Research S-3 headshell, substantial 20g weight for low compliance cartridges
I’m nearly complete converting my cartridge collection to all Ikeda headshells (to match my Ikeda arms - apologies for the OCD) and have a FR S-3 headshell for sale, this is 20g weight and ideal for mounting low-compliance cartridges in a setup that includes Ortofon SPUs. Offered at £120 including postage. These have gone a bit silly on eBay lately but offered at a little less than what I paid. In lovely condition with silver cartridge wires. I will likely have a second one available shortly.

Denon DL 102 mono cartridge - cheap
Selling a Denon 102 mono cartridge I picked up from Japan without reading the blurb properly. Paid £70 plus shipping plus vat plus brokerage - over £100 all up. Which seemed cheap considering a new one is £200 plus. However this one has issues with the vertical suspension, which means it can’t really be used to play stereo cartridges (which was part of its rationale originally, intended to play stereo records in mono on AM radio stations). Works absolutely fine as a mono cartridge. Ultra cheap introduction to mono at £55 shipped.
