Looking forward to hearing about your impressions Dan as I'm hopefully going to have my IMF ALS30 up and running also in the next few days. But I don't have so much amp choice as you have! :) Only 4 (if I can count correctly).

NB: hopefully the Tisbury sale is all sorted. Lawrence and me have been joking around his extortionate commission.

Hi Edward

I cannot wait to hear them glad to hear yours are also on the road of repair i have put down a £20 deposit for the Tisbury so the deal should be going ahead as planned i hope...

Happy Listening

I think i will be going with the Creek for the grunt at 65 WPC then again the Technics is 80 we will see,,,,:)

Hopefully the drivers I got for my IMFs are sound. In any event I won't wire them up initially to either the Radford or the Sugden just in case a problem. I'll probably use a 110w Quad 405 clone or an Alto to try the IMFs and take it from there.

Yes I'd imagine that the Creek or the Technics will be fine. Probably even the NAD 3020 (ah memories there!) will be good to go even though nominally on paper is under powered. Just don't crank it much.

Quad 405 with Tisbury should do well, but the PMA-350SE has good punch and grip too.

Well it'll be a bit different to the Denon, but I doubt if it will be better. :)

Interesting Debate each to their own i'm loving this sound already very impressive both very similar in sound but my heart is going with the Tisbury And Quad wins hands down for me - pure magic well to me and that is all that matters keeping the Denon though as stonking sound per pound.
