Technics 1200GR torque setting - influence on sound?

I'm admire new Technics Sl 1200 G and GR turntable. My question is, has anybody tried TORQUE settings (startup speed) and how it influences the sound quality? GR model has 3 torque settings H(default), Medium and Low. Does this torque settings H,M and L have influence on sound and how it sounds?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the 'torque' settings for SL-1200G and SL-1200GR relate only to startup and not to constant running.

I also thought it was about getting the speed up quickly for broadcast situations and club DJ use. Can't see what difference it makes once the deck is up to speed.

I've read on net, that lower setting on torque has slower start speed, but also low torque remains while playing LP's. And it sounds different, but I don't what influence it has on sound?

Try listening to the different settings without knowing which it is set on and see if you can still hear a difference.

Maybe there is some sort of reason why it would sound different but I can't think of one. Mind you I'm not an engineer.

Greater motor torque gives greater resistance to stylus drag variation, it affects motor noise and depending on how its achieved affects the radiated magnetic field.

How it sounds different is anyone's guess.

I've done some net search and find one quote about how 3 settings of torque on Technics 1200 GR influence the sound:
