View Full Version : Ideas for Living in Harmony
I often think cars should have two horns, the normal one for when people cut you up or do other silly things and need a good sharp shock, plus a more conciliatory one which can be used for instance when the person in front has dozed off at the lights. In this case a loud aggressive BEEEE--EEEEP rudely disturbs their slumber and puts them in an aggressive mood whereas a quick burst of 'Brahm's Lullaby' or 'I do like to be beside the seaside' would gently rouse them and see them on their way with a cheery wave in the rear view mirror.

Of course use of the horn in the UK for either example is actually illegal and could (unlikely but possible) land you a £1,000 fine . . . . just sayin' ;)
Why honking your car horn can land you £1,000 fine (https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/cars/915574/driving-law-honking-car-horn-fine-UK)
... Not to mention a punch on the nose!
Front mounted machines would be far better
Land Rover Defender LWB with heavy-duty bull bars and chequer plate. They don't get moving fast enough ram them up the arse.
My recipe for living in harmony - grab them by the balls and their hearts and minds will follow :D
It's also an episode of 'The Prisoner.' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_in_Harmony
There's also 28 towns in the USA called Harmony but none in the UK - classic example of the cynical British versus the ever-optimistic yanks.

And also 27 towns called 'Paradise', one of which just burned down. Joni Mitchell sang about paradise and Tom Selleck's police chief character 'Jesse Stone' was based in a non-existent Paradise.
Didn't Van Halen/Dave Lee Roth do a song about living in paradise?

Yes, and the imbecile that is Donald Trump couldn't even get the name right - he called it "Pleasant"!
'Tonald where's yir troosers
Calling a place 'Paradise' would seem to be tempting fate a little... much safer with Poughkeepsie
